It is rare to be building something and be globally recognised for the work. This week, Mike Knobben travelled to Germany to compete against teams representing countries across Europe, the US, and Asia in an infrastructure and industrial AI competition hosted by SpinLab, the Leipzig-based HHL Accelerator attached to HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management.
We are proud to be building world-class AI in Canada, and prouder still of the team we have built. Winning the competition, and even just being selected to participate, was a tremendous honour. Judges from ExxonMobil, ONTRAS Gastransport GmbH, C³ - Carbon Concrete Composite e.V., and Actemium Deutschland praised our approach. What we brought to Germany is the same thing we bring to every plant floor and field truck: the Visor platform, making technicians, operators, and field service teams more productive, happier, and safer.
The real revolution in industrial AI is not about replacing anyone. It is about inclusion: worker-first AI that meets people where the work actually happens.
