AutoAlign won an infrastructure and industrial AI competition hosted by SpinLab, the HHL Accelerator, against teams representing countries across Europe, the US, and Asia. World-class AI, built in Canada.

AutoAlign received the 2026 OCI Artificial Intelligence Award for Advanced Manufacturing, powered by AWS, at OCI’s Critical Industrial Technologies event at McMaster University’s Manufacturing Research Institute.

AutoAlign joined the Team Canada Trade Mission to the Republic of Korea, part of a delegation of more than 110 Canadian organisations. Across MRO, defence sustainment, and advanced manufacturing, Korean operators face the same workforce pressures reshaping industry everywhere.

AutoAlign is in France for the Canada–France defence and aeronautics trade mission: ten Canadian startups meeting French industry and institutions on drones, autonomy, and electrification, with Dan Adamson, Henry Long, and Mike Knobben representing the team.

AutoAlign CEO Dan Adamson spoke at Ford Motor Company Innovation Day in Dearborn, Michigan, on how AI captures expert knowledge and trains the next generation of technicians as the industry replaces tens of thousands of skilled workers a year.

AutoAlign launched Visor at Hannover Messe: an AI assistant that learns a domain and works in the physical world, integrating technical documentation, video, sensor data, and enterprise systems to support workers at the point of work.

The BELLS project (Benchmarks for the Evaluation of LLM Supervision) evaluated guardrail frameworks against five adversarial datasets. Sidecar Pro led or matched the field in every category, with the widest margins on the hardest jailbreak sets.

AutoAlign’s Sidecar firewall is now available through NVIDIA NeMo Guardrails, part of the NVIDIA NeMo platform. An accompanying white paper measured its effect on jailbreak and prompt-injection resistance across GPT-4 and Claude 3 Haiku.

AutoAlign announced its spin-off from Armilla AI, the launch of Sidecar (a dynamic LLM security firewall), and a cooperation agreement making AutoAlign a compliance option within KPMG in Canada’s Trusted AI framework.
